Story
In September 1987, when I was just beginning my senior year at St. Leo University, my brother Miles, took his life. He was only nineteen. But instead of finding himself in a Heavenly place, he found himself stuck. The family that he once thought he didn’t want and were better off without him, were shattered and devastated. And all he could do was try to find his way into Heaven.
This is his story, told by his own recollection, as well as my own, and those souls in Heaven who tried to help save him, of the journey he took to finally reach Home. From the moment he found the shotgun next to his body, to the turn of events that lasted the next nine years and more, he recalls his life on Earth and why he never truly recovered.
I know, because I am his sister, and I am also a Psychic Medium. In fact, even before I was able to understand my own abilities, I knew something was wrong the morning before Miles died. That day I found myself connecting to the souls of my grandfather and great grandfather who were asking me to intercede, but I couldn’t stop what happened. And after Miles died, I could still hear their thoughts, and of the souls in Heaven, but now I could also hear Miles' thoughts, too.
Miles story explains what led up to his taking God’s most precious gift, his own life, and the lack of peace he had until he came to terms with it. For anyone who has lost a loved one to suicide, or ever considered it themselves, this retelling of Miles life before and after his death, will help you understand what often lies ahead for those who haven’t fulfilled their lifeline on Earth.
